July 10 snow and Soweto

We woke up to snow flurries this morning can you believe it?  The video isn't downloading for the visual. Clearly we did not pack for snow. We did our yoga in front of the heater and decided to go to Soweto anyway. We took an Uber to Vilikazi street where Nelson Mandela lived for 14 years. The photo doesn't do it justice.  Up the road of the photo of the road is where Desmond Tutu lived. Did I mention it snowed and was freezing?  We didn't walk to Tutu house I was just too cold. The thought was there:) Then we went to an authentic African meal house with a buffet. You had a limit of 2 hours. Who sits and eats for 2 hours?  It had sweet bread pumpkin mush spinach chicken masala rice potatoes collard greens of sorts plus a lot more items  and pudding for desert. We came back needing to warm up. We went over the Mandela bridge. The bridge was named after Mandela upon it's completion in 2001. The last photo is sunset out our huge windows from our condo. This building in front just looked cool tonight. We leave bright and early 4 AM for a 6:00 flight to Cape Town. Very excited
